Kathina Festival is one of Buddhist Ceremony that Khmer people in the whole country always celebrate every year. This year, my parents celebrated the Kathin Tean at Poun Phnom pagoda on November 2nd, 2008. The following are photos that I toke during this festival.

While we were attending into the pagoda, we heard the Pin Peat sound loudly.

He wants to be a Pin Peat member in the future.
ចំណាប់អារម្មណ៍របស់ខ្ញុំក្នុងបុណ្យកឋិននេះ
មនុស្សម្នារជាច្រើននាក់បាននាំគ្នាចូលរួមបុណ្យកឋិននៅឯវត្តពូនភ្នំដែលស្ថិតនៅជាយក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ក្នុងគោលបំណងថែរក្សានូវទំលាមទំលាប់ប្រពៃណីខ្មែរយើងតាមបែបផែនអ្នកកាន់ព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនា។ ពួកគេបានស្លៀកសំលាក់បំពាក់តាមប្រពៃណីបរុមបុរាណរបស់ខ្មែរដែលធ្វើអោយបរទេសមានការកោតសរសើរមិនដាច់ពីមាត់។ ទន្ទឹមនឹងនេះ ក៏មានសំលៀកបំពាក់មួយចំនួនដែលយើងគួរជៀសវាងប្រើប្រាស់ក្នុងពិធីបុណ្យនានា។ ប្រសិនបើពួកយើងដែលជាអ្នកជំនាន់នេះមិនព្រមថែរក្សាតំលៃនៃវប្បធម៌ខ្មែរនោះទេ តើការរស់នៅរបស់កូនចៅជំនាន់ក្រោយនឹងទៅជាយ៉ាងណា?
